Mah-jong is a game which originated in China. It's very sociable and fun, played by 3 or 4 people at a time round a table and using ‘tiles’ marked with Chinese characters.

Don't worry if you haven't played before. If you have ever played card games you will quickly pick up the basics.

This group is a mixture of experienced players and beginners, and the members are learning and improving together.

They meet weekly on Tuesday afternoons for two hours from 2.30pm in members’ homes.
